Can I pay my property taxes with a credit card?
No, we do not accept credit card payments for property taxes.
Do you accept postmarks for payments?
No, we do not accept postmarks for payment of any bills and we are not responsible for timeliness of mail delivery.
How do I pay my taxes if the office is closed?
Property taxes can be mailed to:

The payment can also be deposited in the drop box located outside of the office.
Please include the payment stub with your check and make sure that your telephone number is on the check in case we have a problem with your payment.
What are your hours?
Our normal office hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday, except on holidays.
When is recycling picked up?
Recycling is picked up every other Monday, unless Monday is a holiday, then it will be picked up on Tuesday.
Recycling is picked up every Monday between July 1 and Labor Day.

Who do I contact to pay delinquent property taxes?
The Village collects delinquent summer property taxes through the last business day in February. Contact the deputy clerk at (269) 469-3141 for the amount due before that date. On or after March 1, contact the Berrien Country Treasurer's office at (269) 983-7111, ext. 8569. Visit our Property Taxes page for more detail.
