Building Permit Form
If you are doing any type of construction on your property, you will need to complete this form and bring it to the Village Hall along with the permit fee and all other required documents.
Building Certificate Form
This is the form to be used for maintenance type of work on your home which might include painting, siding, window or door replacement.

This is a list of documents that are required when applying for a building permit. Depending on the project and the location, some of the items might not be required.

House Number Requirements
This document should be filled out and returned to Village Hall when building a new home to acknowledge that homeowner will put house numbers on the home as required by Village ordinance number 2008-73
Building Permit Application Packet
This is a full packet of forms and documents that a contractor will need for building a new house or adding on to an existing home in the Village of Grand Beach.
This packet might include one or two forms that will not be required depending on the building project.

Certificate of Occupancy Request Form
This document should be filled out and submitted to the Building Inspector or the Village Hall after a house has been completed to request a certificate of occupancy in order to live in the house.

Contractor Information Form
This form should be filled out by a building contractor who is working in the Village and returned to Village Hall along with a copy of their valid building contractor's license.
Construction Work Hours
This document shows construction work hours allowed in the Village for projects with a valid building permit or building certificate.
Storm Water Management Form
This document must be filled out and returned to the Village Hall when applying for a building permit when storm water runoff is affected by any construction.
This form is not required for interior remodel of the home or a new roof unless the contractor or homeowner is adding gutters and/or downspouts.
Storm Water System Maintenance Agreement
This agreement should be filled out and returned to Village Hall only when construction work will disturb one acre or more of soil.
Sand Donation Request Letter
The Village of Grand Beach has a need for sand for a variety of public improvements. In an effort to keep this important natural resource within the Village, the Village is asking any property owner who is removing sand for a permitted building project who is interested in the sand to contact Village Superintendent Bob Dabbs at (269) 469-1270.
